We’re thrilled to announce a huge leap forward in libaaruformat: full write support for user data is now implemented!

This means that aaruformat V2 images now support complete read and write operations, including the ability to create images from scratch—a major step toward robust archival and forensic workflows.

Early Alpha Features

• Lossless conversion from V1 to V2 for block media such as floppies, flash drives, and hard disks
• Complete write support alongside existing read support
• Full deduplication to optimize storage without compromising data integrity
