libaaruformat has reached full feature parity with Aaru, supporting all AaruFormat v1 capabilities and introducing AaruFormat v2 with new enhancements like multi-level deduplication tables for more efficient large-disk preservation. This milestone paves the way for upcoming features such as snapshots, parent images, and integration into Aaru’s next alpha releases.
libaaruformat V2 now offers full read/write support for user data—including image creation from scratch and lossless V1→V2 conversion with deduplication (alpha).
Aaru 6.0.0 alpha 12 adds decompression support for several rare and historic archive formats, including ZOO, ARC, PAK, HA, AMG, and Xbox 360 STFS.
